    Free Amigurumi Monkey Crochet Pattern

    Monkeys are one of the smartest primates that work together and protect each other. There are more than 200 different species of monkeys living on our planet. After making this crochet monkey pattern, you can keep it for yourself or gift it to the little ones in your family.

    Free Amigurumi Monkey Crochet Pattern

    You will need a few materials to crochet this cute amigurumi monkey pattern. The first material you will need is yarn obviously. You can crochet this toy in any color you want. The second thing you’ll need is a crochet hook. We recommend using a 2.00 mm hook. You will also need 6mm safety eyes, sewing needles, scissors, and some polyfill.

    Attach the muzzle to the monkey’s face as shown in the picture. Insert the safety eyes approximately 5 st between them.

    • RND 6-14: 10 sc (9 rounds)
    • Gently stuff.
    • Finish off. Leave a long tail for sewing.

    Tail

    • RND 3-30: 8 sc (28 rounds)
    • Fold the tail closed. Crochet both sides together.
    • Finish off. Leave a long tail for sewing.

    Ears

    • Front (Make 2)
    • Begin with begie

    • RND 2: (inc) x 6 (12)
    • Finish off.
    • Back (Make 2)
    • Begin with brown

    Place a back and front ear with wrong sides facing each other. Crochet both pieces together to join the pieces and make one more row (12).

    Finish off. Leave a long tail for sewing.
